Our little cousins, Alexandra and Adrianna Felder (MD), are the inspiration behind this page being recently added.  I was so impressed by their enthusiasm, interest, and participation at our recent planning meeting.  In fact, Adrianna was not satisfied until the best color combination was chosen for our hats and tee-shirts! :))  Our children are the future of this family and the world.   They need our guidance.  Let's help them be all they can be!  Please review the entire page for useful information.  There are useful links for everyone.  We start with an important message for high school juniors, seniors and parents.  Enjoy!

I discovered a wonderful resource page from The American Library Association and I was really happy to see that their selections culturally sensitive!  Below you will find their recommendations for the best websites based on grade level.  So whether you need to learn your ABC's or master Physics, you will find great information by clicking the links below.  Once you are on the ALA reference page, you will find information organized under the following categories for grades Pre K - 12: animals, the arts, history and biography, literature and languages, mathematics and computers, sciences, social studies, religion, and desk references.  There's useful information for parents too!

YOUTH WEBSITE OF THE MONTH

http://www.mysavingsquest.com/

This site is excellent!  It allows you chose a character based on gender, skin color, hair, eyes and shirt color.   Then you pick an occupation, choose a goal, and learn how to set up a budget to reach that goal in 6 months by saving!   It’s a fun way to learn about budgeting and saving...regardless of age!

I'm sure you'll agree this is enough to keep everyone busy for a while.  :))  Enjoy this page and sign our Guest Book if you learned something new today!  If you have a suggestion for something that should be added, email us at dcarmsteadfamilyreunion@gmail.com.  Thank you!
